In the heart of Cannes, a stone's throw from the Croisette, La Môme has established itself as one of the city's must-see restaurants. Since its opening in 2015, this establishment, founded by twin brothers Antoine and Ugo Lecorché, has seduced with its chic and festive atmosphere, its elegant setting and its exceptional Mediterranean cuisine.
Behind its name, La Môme pays tribute to Lucienne Suzanne Vreurick, known as La Môme Moineau, a singer from the 1920s who became an icon of the Côte d'Azur. This historical reference is embodied in the atmosphere of the place: a clever mix of glamour, refinement and festive spirit, faithful to the captivating image of Cannes.
As soon as you enter, the cocktail bar invites you to extend the evening in an atmosphere inspired by New York bars from the 50s. The decor combines powdery tones, touches of gold and noble materials, offering an atmosphere that is both intimate and warm. The walls, decorated with photographs, evoke the golden age of the jet set on the Riviera, adding a touch of timeless elegance.
The art of the table is unique, made by the studio Crociani.
In the kitchen, chef Julian Cazalas celebrates fresh and seasonal products through dishes inspired by the Mediterranean terroir. Among the must-haves, we find egg yolk ravioli, zucchini flower fritters or even a seared octopus with vegetables from the sun. Meat and fish are enhanced by mastered cooking: Mediterranean sea bass roasted with garlic oil, rack of lamb in a pine nut crust, etc. Finally, to round off the meal in style, the desserts by pastry chef Mathieu Marchand revisit the great classics with finesse, such as the Grand Marnier soufflé or the homemade waffle with three sauces.
What sets La Môme apart is its vibrant atmosphere that evolves throughout the evening. The musical selection, oscillating between lounge rhythms and lively beats, creates a friendly and refined atmosphere, where people come as much to taste as to soak up the energy of the place. On the terrace, decorated with rattan chandeliers, the sweet Cannes evenings take on a whole new dimension, between effervescence and the art of living.
